Pump stations

We use pre-assembled pump stations. They are well designed, robust and reliable.

All pumps are enclosed in a polystyrene case for sound and heat insulation, and include:

• 3-speed circulating pump - with lower power consumption than a standard central heating pump
• fill and drain point - for filling, de-aerating, pressurising and easy maintenance
• pressure gauge - for determining system health
• flow sight-glass and flow adjustment valve - to check system health and adjust ideal flow rate
• temperature gauge - visual check in addition to controller display
• non-return valve - to prevent thermosyphon
• pressure relief valve - for discharge of over-pressure into a container

On new installations we also fit an air separator as standard.
